Ik ben Julia Nolet, freelance journalist, tekstschrijver, communicatie- en online contentadviseur, en eigenlijk gewoon allround verhalenmaker. In 2013 studeerde ik af aan de School voor Journalistiek in Utrecht, in de richtingen buitenland- en achtergrondjournalistiek. Tijdens en na mijn studie schreef ik verschillende achtergrondverhalen in binnen- en buitenland, met altijd een bijzondere interesse in nog niet gehoorde verhalen, buitenlandjournalistiek en het menselijke verhaal. Gelijktijdig sloeg ik het digitale- en communicatiepad in, en werkte als (online) contentspecialist, redacteur en communicatieadviseur bij verschillende organisaties, waaronder de Universiteit Leiden. In 2021 besloot ik om mijn ervaring als (online) communicatieadviseur en journalist te bundelen in mijn eigen onderneming.
